Arts Development Support for Schools
The Arts Development team offers schools a range of support and resources, ranging from intensive 2 year programmes (Arts Plus) to information about artists and best practice guidelines (Arts Kit) In addition, we deliver professional development programmes and events for teachers and artists (Arts Professional) and we have an ever-changing range of subsidised arts projects which support current agendas in schools (Arts Portfolio)
We promote national initiatives such as Artsmark and National Storytelling week through briefing and support sessions and special projects (Bigger Picture) and collate information about touring theatre and dance opportunities in the region to encourage schools to take advantage of the rich variety of high quality work on offer to schools (Arts on Tour)
We can also help clusters of schools to develop the arts within their extended services provision (Arts Extend)
