Inclusive Music - The Gordon Parry Centre
The Gordon Parry Centre provides and promotes musical opportunities for children and adults who need additional support in order to access their music education. These include children with learning and behaviour problems, those with sensory impairments, on the autistic spectrum or with complex needs.
It is uniquely placed being a partnership between ArtForms and YAMSEN: SpeciallyMusic. It has a team of dedicated specialist music/arts staff who work in both the centre and in schools. The centre is based in a suite of rooms in the West Park Centre and houses a library, instrument library and a 'Sound and Light' multisensory room.
We offer training, support and advice to schools and parents/carers, as well as a range of services, including:
Music Workshops
Music Therapy
The Sound and Light Room
The Instrument Library
Activities and Events
