Accompanying pianists and ensemble conductors

Standard Accompanying Pianists

ArtForms Music can provide standard accompanying pianists in primary and special schools to support school teachers in leading singing in whole school, year groups, classes, choirs and other groups.

Enhanced Level Pianists

Enhanced level accompanying pianists are also able to contribute to learning in the National Curriculum and to coach groups in classroom percussion and other instrumental or vocal activities. They are able to take a more pro-active role in assiting the teacher responsible for the class, choir or group.

Please note that accompanying pianists are not usually qualified teachers, nor paid as such. If you do require teacher support, please consider

Ensemble Conductors

Learning to play music or sing in a group is a powerful cultural and creative experience for children. School-based music groups and ensembles enrich the whole school through contributions to class music lessons, concerts and performances and through the skills children develop learning to make music with other people. Many schools employ our Musician Teachers to run and coordinate music groups and choirs.
